How to Choose the Correct Size for Your Window? Example: Window Meas. 23" Width by 72" Length
When choosing a window shade, it’s important to select the right size to fit your window perfectly. Here’s a guide based on whether you are using an inside mount or an outside mount.
INSIDE MOUNT: - For inside mounts, the blind width and height will match your window dimensions. - Blind Width: 23" - Blind Height: 72"
OUTSIDE MOUNT: - For outside mounts, add at least 4" to both the width and height. - Blind Width: 23"+4" = 27" - Blind Height: 72"+4" = 76"
Note: To account for fabric width, it will be 0.7" shorter than the size of the shade. So, your fabric width would be 22.3" for the width and 71.3" for the height.
